Because wash day should be easy.

Clean hair is happy hair. Let yours be joyous with Cleanse. Powered by a blend of fruit extracts and mild surfactants, it gently rejuvenates without stripping natural oils or drying your hair out.

Why do I need to use shampoo?

Everyday environmental pollutants, sebum and product buildup all need to be removed with shampoo. When these things aren't removed by shampooing, the buildup they cause can lead to dull, flat and weighed-down hair. They may also create dryness, stunt hair growth and increase breakage.

What’s the difference between Clarify and Cleanse Shampoos? Why do I need both?

Occasionally using Clarify is necessary to refresh your hair and scalp to provide a clean slate for optimal conditioning. Clarify thoroughly removes buildup produced by natural oils, environmental pollutants, styling products, silicones, and chlorine. This allows your strands to absorb moisture and not be weighed down by buildup.

Clarify, however, should not be used for each wash as it may cause your scalp to overproduce oil resulting in sebum buildup. This is why Cleanse is important. It will have you covered between your Clarify days, gently removing buildup while maintaining the delicate moisture balance your hair thrives on.

Why does my hair feel greasy after using Cleanse?

This is typically from either not shampooing enough or shampooing too much. Failing to cleanse your strands often enough will allow oil to build up. Conversely, overwashing essentially trains the scalp to overproduce sebum in an attempt to recover. If you haven’t taken the FORM Consultation to figure out the best regimen for your own hair and styling needs, now’s the time.

Can I pre-poo before Cleanse?

Of course. If your hair is suffering from hygral fatigue – the over-moisturization of your hair – you can apply your FORM Conditioner to dry hair as a pre-wash. It will penetrate your strands, reducing the amount of water that enters. However, to truly correct the issue, it’s important that you gain proper moisture and protein balance. If your hair is damaged or highly porous, you might follow up with FORM Revive Conditioner for a protein infusion.

Will Cleanse strip my hair?

Not at all. Cleanse reduces oil content and pollution of the hair while leaving behind a stable amount of moisture, even with daily use. In fact, clinical testing has proven Cleanse to be non-drying. That said, clean hair should not feel "conditioned". A great shampoo properly cleanses, removing buildup to properly prep your locks for conditioner. FORM Hydrate or Revive should follow each wash for proper moisture balance.
